RB Leipzig secured their fourth consecutive victory in the Bundesliga on Sunday, defeating Borussia Dortmund 2-1 at Red Bull Arena. The win came courtesy of two goals from the talented duo of Emil Forsberg and Timo Werner, while the visitors were denied by a fine performance from the impressive Marcel Sabitzer.

Forsberg's goal was a well-deserved reward for his hard work in midfield, as he made it past several defenders before unleashing a shot that found the back of the net. Werner's goal was even more impressive, as he scored with a stunning volley after being played through by fellow German international Leon Bailey.

Despite dominating possession throughout the game, Dortmund failed to create many clear-cut opportunities, and it was RB Leipzig who took control of the match in the second half. They were able to exploit Dortmund's defensive mistakes, with Nkunku scoring a well-taken penalty kick to put them ahead.

Dortmund responded immediately, however, with a goal from Jadon Sancho to level things up once again. But it was too little, too late, as RB Leipzig held on for a crucial three points.

The win moves RB Leipzig into third place in the league table, just one point behind leaders Bayern Munich. They will be hoping to maintain this form against lower-ranked sides in the coming weeks, as they look to secure a top-four finish in the Bundesliga.
