Bayern Munich secured a comfortable 4-0 victory over Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga Round 31 on Saturday, thanks to goals from Erling Haaland (Kane), Lucas Sané, and Kevin De Bruyne.

Haaland, who was instrumental in Bayern's title defense campaign last season, scored his third goal of the match as he burst into the penalty area and slotted past goalkeeper Jonas Leno for the first goal of the night. This followed up on his previous double in the previous round against Borussia Dortmund.

Sané, who had been struggling for form throughout the season, found the back of the net twice. In the second half, he collected a through ball from Robert Lewandowski and calmly tapped it into the bottom corner after receiving a pass from Jules Kounde.

Meanwhile, Kevin De Bruyne added the fourth goal for Bayern, slotting home a cross from Thomas Muller just before halftime. The Belgian midfielder had been on fire recently, scoring two goals in the previous game against Leverkusen.

The result ensured that Bayern maintained their lead at the top of the table, while Mainz 05 fell to the bottom of the league. With three games left in the season, Bayern will be looking to secure another win and extend their unbeaten run to seven matches.
